Charlie Mosley, the son of the late Tom and  Lee Willie Parks. He had three siblings, Alonzie Parks, Katheryn Powells, and the late Henry Lee Parks. He also grew up with two special cousins, who also preceded him in death, the late Mary "Mae" Julia Franklin and Aldine C. Moses. Charlie grew up in Soperton, Georgia, attended school at Treutlen County. He later married his sweetheart, Juanita Mosley, on April 12, 1969. In 1972 the two moved to South Carolina, where he resided in Aiken County for the last 41  years.  He was formerly employed by Aiken Electric Coop for 25 years  and joined Church of Deliverance in 1978. Up until his final departure, the two was blessed as a union for 44 years. To this union came four beautiful daughters: Frances, Angenita, Charlene, and Jearlene. He also had two son n laws; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Charlie was known for his hardworking, cutting and hauling wood, selling peaches, and forever smiling.  He worked hard to make sure our family had a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs and food on the table. Later on in life, he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. He never gave up fighting nor did he ever complain. His journey on this side ended on January 11, 2014, quietly as he slept. The cancer didn't win, God called him. He saw him coming and said, "No more suffering, this is the end." My dad, Charlie, will always be a part of us and the all the good memories will still linger in our hearts FOREVER. Never ever will he be forgotten. It's lonesome here without you, we miss you more each day! Life doesn't seem the same since you went away! When days are sad and lonely, and everything goes wrong, we seem to hear you whisper, "Cheer up and carry on!" Each time we see your picture, you seem to smile and say, "Don't cry, I'm in God's hands, we'll meet again someday"!!! Rest In Peace, Dad. We miss you so very much. We love you always and will forever.
